{"id":2,"date":"2011-07-07T12:47:38","date_gmt":"2011-07-07T12:47:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helpmeinvestigate.com\/health\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2021-10-22T07:05:46","modified_gmt":"2021-10-22T07:05:46","slug":"about-help-me-investigate","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/helpmeinvestigate.com\/health\/about-help-me-investigate\/","title":{"rendered":"About Help Me Investigate Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Help Me Investigate Health is a website to help those who want to investigate questions relating to the health system &#8211; this might be anything from the availability of hormonal contraceptives to how money is allocated, or services are audited.<\/p>\n<p>It does this by providing common resources (for example, <a title=\"health data\" href=\"http:\/\/helpmeinvestigate.com\/health\/category\/data\/\">data<\/a>, documents and background), <a href=\"http:\/\/helpmeinvestigate.com\/health\/category\/tips-and-help\/\">tips and help<\/a>, <a title=\"links to health stories\" href=\"http:\/\/helpmeinvestigate.com\/health\/category\/investigations\/\">links to health-related stories<\/a>, and connections to other people with similar interests.<\/p>\n<p>The site is based on Help Me Investigate.com, a site which was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/media\/pda\/2009\/jun\/01\/channel4-research1\">launched in July 2009<\/a>\u00a0with funding from Channel 4\u2032s 4iP fund and Screen West Midlands.<\/p>\n<h2>How can I help?<\/h2>\n<p>There are a number of ways you can get involved in any of the Help Me Investigate sites:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do you know &#8211; or want to know &#8211; about useful resources, such as data, key documents, or links to relevant regulations and guidance? Let us know about them, or get in touch for ideas on where to start.<\/li>\n<li>You can contribute links to relevant stories, communities or background.<\/li>\n<li>You can add tips from your own experience of investigating or working in the health service.<\/li>\n<li>Or you can offer your support to people who are already investigating something &#8211;
