How much support is there in schools for children suffering from Selective Eating Disorder?

I’ve been contacted by a mum in the North East who’s daughter suffers from serious SED, she says the three schools her daughter has attended don’t have any guidance or support in place for children who suffer from the disorder. She says this means her daughter often can’t eat all day.
I’m wondering whether there are any official guidlines or support services in place for kids with SED, I know there are government guidlines about it but I’m wondering how many local authorities and schools take notice?

I’m particularly interested in schools in the North East or Cumbria, or kids with SED, or any stats on the disorder etc. Also curious to find out if there are any charities or support groups which deal with the eating disorder in the region – so far I haven’t found any but I may be looking in the wrong place.
