Good Hope Hospital spends £100,000 per month on car parks

The investigation into car parking charges at Good Hope Hospital has changed approach after a Freedom of Information request revealed that the hospital spent £1.2m in 2008/09 on car parking.The response, from Heart of England NHS Trust, suggested that the hospital was making a consistent loss of £140-280,000 every year despite income from parking charges increasing by 20% for each of the years where data was provided.The investigation is now looking for a volunteer to...
