Data: EU education spending

The Guardian have compiled some useful data on EU spending, which includes spending on education. This is tucked away under the category of “Citizenship, freedom, security and justice” where education spending sits alongside asylum and culture.

The full data is available here – that category is number 3 on the first spreadsheet, with subcategories 3.1 (freedom, security and justice) and 3.2 (citizenship).

Most of the focus in the Guardian piece is (understandably) on the agriculture spend. But can you find anything worth following up on education in the data?
